Berry & coconut water smoothie bowl

On the blog today, we wanted to share one of the many delicious ways that you can use our coconut water, starting off with this berry smoothie bowl. Smoothie bowls make a great breakfast or snack, if you’re looking for something quick and simple to rustle up. They’re a great way to pack in a whole bunch of nutritious ingredients and use up leftover fruit and veggies. This recipe also makes for a really fresh and tasty sweet treat and you can top it off with whatever you fancy!

Coconut water makes a great addition to a smoothie bowl, as it’s subtle sweet flavour really compliments the sweetness of the fruit. It’s also a great source of electrolytes and is really hydrating. You could also add in a scoop of plant based protein powder, if you wanted to up the protein content and enjoy this post-workout.

Ingredients:

1 banana

1 cup frozen raspberries

1/3 cup coconut water

1 tbsp cashew butter

Optional toppings- berries, pomegranate, coconut chips, granola

 

Method:

Add all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Top with your favourite toppings and enjoy!
