Raw coconut oil Easter eggs
We’re bringing you a rather exciting recipe video for this months recipe because.. it’s almost Easter! How do you fancy making your own raw chocolate Easter eggs?! Well, these are actually so quick and simple to make; plus you’ll only need a few ingredients- one of which being our Organic coconut oil! Coconut oil is actually great for making chocolate, as you can use it as well as, or in place of cacao butter for the fat part of the chocolate and it also adds a delicious hint of sweet coconutty flavour to the recipe! We’ve kept these ones nice and simple, but you could always add in some nuts, cacao nibs or even freeze dried fruits to mix things up a little and create flavoured chocolates.
3 tbsp Coco Zumi Coconut Oil
3 tbsp raw cacao powder
4 tbsp brown rice syrup/maple syrup/agave
Gently melt the coconut oil unit liquified.
Stir in the cacao powder and liquid sweetener of choice until the mixture is completely smooth.
Pour this into your Easter egg mould and pop them into the freezer for at least an hour to set. Enjoy!
